rotten

rotten pursues the alluring aspects of alteration, the inevitable result of entropy.

some lives can only gain meaning after death, like these objects frozen in photographic frames. in this photography series, i aimed to fixate presences of objects - in their less appealing forms.

i, maybe like all, only want to be god; for death is very certain. the perfect entity would have no expiration date (unless god was a can of pineapple).

some deaths are sudden, while others take so long that decay becomes inevitable.

wilted flowers drift far, far away from their ideal selves when their scent has rotted and their vivacious petals have turned pale.

nevertheless, their freshness had meaning at one time. even if they have no chance to return to their old forms, they may invent new meanings.
